@iugradman So yelling "IU Sucks" is so bad that you have to stoop below their level and get personal...So what if they chant that. It literally does not bother me one iota.
@iugradman I know lots of Purdue fans who were cheering for us. My phone was filled with congratulations texts and I even saw many with IU gear on. They might not have done so for basketball but ours was a pretty hard Cinderella story to cheer against.
I had texts from some Purdue grads prior to the football playoff games, mainly the title game, saying they would be rooting for Indiana. Good people. (Now, they all said , wish it was us... lol) And some family went there. People can have their hate rants. But they look stupid. Big rivalry and not wanting them to ever win or is a different thing.

Got to give it to McCollum, he gets his players to work together well as a unit. We'll see if he can pull the big upset today.
At least a few people on here attended Purdue and/or have children who do. If my child went to Purdue and was called a "scumbag" or "mentally ill" for doing so, I'd go scorched earth on that degenerate. I hope people do; it would certainly be justified. Can always count on gradman for a sober, sensible take.
My son is a freshman at Purdue. I cheer for them now, as long as it's not against IU
The freshman, Koch is having the sort of season for Iowa that I envisioned for Sisley.
Anyone on here saying that they are rootn for Poo in any way deserves a thumbs down, just sayin!

Even if he losses he is taking a number one seed down to the wire and its basically a home game for Florida. Not bad for your first year.

To each his own. Speaking as someone with multiple family members who attended and graduated from Purdue, I think he was spot on. My God, I hate to admit this, but one of them…one of them is even…a veterinarian.

IA offense has gone stagnant and they're blowing it at the FT line. Fland has done a good job controlling Stirtz.
@unclemark should probably fire their bum mid major coach 😉.
Also jokes aside. It’s a great game
Hawkeyes with the big upset!!!

I think he deserves one more game to prove himself. If he misses the Elite 8, then he's definitely on the hotseat.
What a finish.
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.
