Game Information
Indiana 17-11 (8-9) vs. No. 13 Michigan State 23-5 (13-4)
Tip Time: 3:45pm
TV: CBS
Line: MSU -3.5
IU is back at it again after a disastrous loss to Northwestern. IU has received some bubble help as it seems no team wants to solidify there position yet. All eyes will also be on Ohio State vs. Purdue as the Hoosiers and Buckeyes are part of the Last 4 In group according to multiple outlets' bracketology predictions.
It's a "White Out" game, so MSU has little chance. If it were a "normal" fan attire game, I'd say MSU by 13. But we all know how impactment 17,000 wearing a single color can be.
I have seen OSU play 4 times now and by the eye test they always talk about in March…..they are better than us IMO. We will see this coming weekend but if they beat PU it probably won’t matter!
@gthomas Yeah, he sent it to students. Basically, took a page out of Cig's playbook. Except without the catch phrase and he lost.
Shots fired!@gthomas The most laughable part may be the 17,000
The crowds, even for the Purdue game, have not been close to sell outs. Heck, there were even students from the balcony leaving at half time. Times have really changed. I'd be shocked if there were actually 17,000 there today.
OSU currently dominating PU, they showed up ready to play for their tournament lives.
@thehoosierhuddle When IU can't sell out a game against a ranked Purdue team, that indicates some serious fan disinterest/apathy.
You'd think moving on from He Who Shall Not Be Named would reinvigorate the fan base. Guess not.
@gthomas The damage down by both the last two staffs was a deeper wound than most knew or cared to admit.
@thehoosierhuddle….It speaks volumes of the state of the program. It is like the movie Goundhog Day….we are reliving the same season over and over and it doesn’t matter who coaches!
@thenickeldimer As I've mentioned, a mediocre coach is a program's enemy: Not good enough to be a contender, but not bad enough to get a quick ax.
