IU offense unwatchable. So far DeVries outcoached big time.
Getting boat raced by a bubble team in Assembly Hall. Embarrassing.
…there's the optics of Iowa first-year head coach Ben McCollum entering Assembly Hall and it feels quite important for Darian DeVries to get a home win over McCollum in year one.
This is the biggest thing for me.
@dbmhoosier To be fair we have zero chance to make the tourney with this team

And? DeVries should've put together a much better roster.
Iowa getting some good shots while IU is struggling to get a shot off.
Indiana's offense finds a bit of life as Conerway attacks the rim but the defense has disappeared. Six straight makes for the Hawkeyes and they are in firm control 17-28 as Darian DeVries takes a timeout. Fouls are 7-3 and there was a blatant travel missed that ended in an Iowa three-pointer but there's not much to like about this so far from the Hoosiers.
Dolson deserves to be fired for grossly mismanaging the basketball program. Cignetti has saved his ass so far. But football ends on Monday and there will be no hiding this dumpster fire of a basketball program.
@dbmhoosier We shouldn't be losing games at home when up by 16 either. Agree that our roster is weak.
Tayton Conerway getting downhill and to the rim for eight straight points. Timeout Iowa.
IU cuts the Iowa lead to 7 28-21 as both offenses are warming up. IU did dig themselves into a huge hole.
Tayton Conerway is picking this team up off the mat right now
That's the first real crowd pop of the season in Assembly Hall as Enright draws an offensive foul. IU back in it at 30-25.
Tayton Conerway continues to get to the rim and Conor Enright just drew the second foul on Bennett Stirtz. Stirtz heads to the bench and IU has trimmed the lead to 30-25 at the final MTO of the first half.
The officials sure do give the benefit of the doubt to Stirtz....one of these days, IU will get a kind whistle at home. That day is not today.
