With 9:52 remaining, Indiana leads 76-39. The outcome has not been in doubt for a very long time but IU has really played quite well today. I would hope we see a long stretch of minutes for Jasai Miles and Nick Dorn down the stretch.
86-45 with 6:40 left. Nick Dorn has knocked down a pair of triples as he continues to work himself back into rhythm. Dorn gives IU a scoring threat from the perimeter off the bench and really extends the rotation to 8 solid options (Alexis, Dorn and Sisley off the bench...Miles is showing to be a reliable defensive and rebounding option but the offense has not been there yet).
I'm switching over to get the game recap article ready...that will be posted shortly after the conclusion of this blowout. It's not even 2 pm on Saturday but it has been an awesome weekend for IU sports!
Hopefully they got that two game funk out of them. The schedule gets a lot tougher.
This brand of basketball is a lot of fun. They share the ball and are active on defense.
While I regarded God as a tyrant I thought my sin a trifle; But when I knew Him to be my Father, then I mourned that I could ever have kicked against Him. When I thought God was hard, I found it easy to sin; but when I found God so kind, so good, so overflowing with compassion, I smote upon my breast to think that I could ever have rebelled against One who loved me so, and sought my good.” C. H. Spurgeon
