It is Hoops 4 ALS tonight, IU wore special warm up shirts.
@ohio-guy I didn't know. Congrats on expanding this.
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.
POTFB
Conerway has 11 and Enright has 8 to combine for 19 of IU's 21 points...didn't have that on my bingo card tonight.
Good minutes for Reed Bailey off the bench in that segment. He has four points, has done a nice job standing up to Steinbach and just got a nice board and then followed it with a good pass to Nick Dorn for an and-one layup. IU ahead 27-24 at the 2nd MTO despite no points from DeVries or Wilkerson.
Through 8.5 minutes there have been a combined 9 missed shots. That's absurd
This is the Bailey we need. Hope he sustains it. I love Dorns energy. Water stating to find its level, shooting wise. We need to tighten up our rotations defensively.
Tayton Conerway is scorching hot...4/4 from three and 16 points. Lamar Wilkerson has not scored but he had a nice drive and dump off to Bailey after he drew two defenders, Bailey dunks it to make it 35-27 and UW takes a timeout.
love the ball movement and assists
don't like the D
IU leads 37-33 as the defense is sort of showing signs of life, at least occasionally. Lamar Wilkerson still has not hit a shot but Tucker DeVries knocked down a fadeaway over Bryson Tucker and Wilkerson then got fouled attacking the basket. He'll have two FTs when play resumes.
Rebounding was a major concern for IU heading into this game...simple solution to that potential problem? Have very few missed shots!
Tucker DeVries with a good rebound and outlet to Conerway and he's fouled...Desmond Claude now has two fouls.
live bball game and there are twice as many on the FB board
