Billy Donovan's available.
ITS HAPPENING!
Damn. We always hire in the wrong year!
That's surprising. He and the Bulls had just agreed to a contract extension last July.
So is Brad Stevens the so called inside guy at btown banners had them all convinced he was coming to IU. They 100% believed him.Billy Donovan's available.

Dude, you make more posts about BTB on this site than there are total posts on that forum. I don't get the obsession.

No need for me to ever visit that site. I get all the updates here, whether I want them or not.
In other unwanted coaching news, Mike Davis to Mississippi Valley State.
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

Here's to him turning them around in the twilight of his coaching career.

they fired the GM and President. Rocked the apple cart.
@hoosiers94 I know what I posted is funny, but I really do wish him well. He's coming off his last season as a head coach two years ago where he lost over 30 games taking over a program that lost 30 games last season in a SWAC that's primary reason for existing is to get their collective asses kicked by the power conferences for a paycheck to keep their athletic departments afloat. He's 65 years old. I'm rooting for the guy.

After the fact, I appreciated Davis. He is a nice guy, but was not cut out to coach here. He was put in a crappy position by the administration and players after Knight's firing. I'm confident he did his best in what had to be the craziest of situations.

I concur. I don't wish him any ill will. Hope he does well there

I always liked him and if people think the current climate is toxic to IU coaches they should have seen the names Davis used to be called on message boards. Woodson had it very tame compared to Davis. Even the year he made the finals pitchforks were still out for him by many. It was very very nasty.
