Anybody have the low down?
Any shot in the dark it's televised in some capacity?
@middawg Will Hoosier Huddle have anyone in attendance? Inquiring minds want to know!
I'll settle for a pirate stream. Somebody get some double sided tape and stick your phone onto your shirt. Or hang it from around your neck like a medallion.

META glasses?
Is this gonna be on youtube live? I see a thing on there but nothing showing on it yet!?

Was there full YouTube video?
Saw Inside the Hall has a five min highlights clip posted.
I clicked to the middle of the highlights and in a minute or so had heard 'Snively for two!' , 'Snively for two!' and 'Snively for three!' lol And they were nice plays. The walkon may be a spot shooter in a year or two.
I was glad Yigitoglu didn't look bad. Highlights included a bunny miss from a few feet away though. A nice block.
Couldn't tell anything. But was good to see the guys. Sisley looks less important each time I see them, but I still think he can be a moderate minute guy doing a bit of everything. Don't see any star power there though, the new guys look to have raised the bar. Which is A-OK .
I remember when people used to show up to these things. Coach Knight used to open a practice every year and there would be a couple thousand people there to watch them run drills and get yelled at.

Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

Yeah, the attendance was sad compared to the Knight years.
But they made some noise.
,
@kkott No, we were at Soccer and in New Jersey. With no postgame interviews it's really hard to justify going. Heck, Peegs didn't send anyone either.
Thank you for reading Hoosier Huddle
@hooky Looks awful, any way you slice it. If you can't invest the energy and resources to get a decent crowd, don't open it at all.
Some valid excuses...
-Timing was unfortunate for this, with no home football game this past weekend.
-There are so many scrimmages nowadays, its hard to get a handle on what's what.
-IU doesn't host a midnight madness event any more, but has the Haunted Hall event, much closer to their first game. I'm sure the die hards are pointing to that event, and the exhibition games, as their first chances to see the team this fall.
Having gotten those out of the way...
Come on Dolson/DeVries??? We literally have more people than that at our high school intrasquad scrimmage. No matter how it went down, or the intent of it, seeing any sort of official scrimmage, open to the public, at a school like IU with thousands of students... with THAT level of crowd. Bad look.
Not a big deal... just win. But come on...
Some valid excuses

Seriously, just don't open it to the public. Maybe to the press, but as Sammy said, then you need to have players available after. It's gotten a lot of air play on SM with UK fans, and I'd imagine also with PU and Lville fans. No reason to help them make us look bad.
@kkott Ha ha... just trying to create some levity. Its a really bad look.
Different times though. We play Butler, UNC, and Western Kentucky as exhibitions, over the next few weeks. Obviously those will garner a decent amount of attention.
But IU has resources coming out of its ears to put on a better Cream and Crimson event, than what they did. So why they didn't, is troubling, if not infuriating.
As you said, make it a closed event just for family, if you're going to just mail it in like that. Its an embarrassing look, as a proud IU bball fan.
@iunorth honestly, my first reaction, as it often is with SM, was that was AI created by a PU/UK fan. Wish that was the case. That was embarrassing.
