After blasting Peru, IU/Team USA takes on the US Virgin Islands in game number two (of four expected contests) at 6:00 pm tonight. US Virgin Islands beat Peru 93-73 yesterday (July 22) so the competition should be a bit better but still will very likely provide no challenge for Darian DeVries' squad.
The US Virgin Islands' team consists mainly of players that are on NAIA squads with some JUCO and DII players mixed in. Again, they just don't appear to have the size required to compete with a team like IU (or any major conference team). We'll cover the game from this thread and have post-game articles, observations and quotes.

There are reports from a few different outlets (I saw it first from Inside The Hall) that the game this evening is likely to be delayed. For some reason, the game between Chile and Colombia that was supposed to begin at 2:00 was very late in getting underway.
See the tipoff at 6 pm! Then the next frame every 60 seconds or so after that.
Game will probably tip shortly after 6pm as games have run long.

@openwheel Argentina won fairly easily...Argentina and IU/USA are very clearly the two best teams at this event. Argentina likely can't beat the Hoosiers but they could at least be competitive if they play in the final.
