@cavanagh Just an early prediction... I think Karvala may be a little frustrating, this year. He might be a guy that has some big games, but struggles with physicality and speed against some teams. I think PAM is a dawg though. But both of them, and Manhertz as well, are a different caliber of depth player for us, than we had last year. This team doesn't probably have anyone that will be as consistently productive as Lamar was... but they have 8-9 legit B10 caliber talents, when last year we only had a few. Doesn't mean we automatically ascend and compete for top 5 in the league... but its obvious we should be headed in that direction.
And then Branham the following year is a badass. Have a solid NCAA tournament level year, return a decent core, add someone like Wabbington to the class and a couple difference maker portal guys, and the program is headed in the right direction.
@unclemark which player would you want to be playing instead? Sokolov isn't with the team yet, Yigitoglu cannot, Winker is a walk-on...I get your sentiment completely but they need more than one big guy available.
I don't care. Sam is out of eligibility. He shouldn't be playing with the IU team. Maybe we can learn some small ball. Might come in handy. Never know.
