USA called a timeout after giving up back to back buckets
Six straight for USVI as Team USA gets sloppy with turnovers. DeVries calls a quick timeout. The adage "it's not who you play, it's how you play" has to be applied for the rest of this one (and really, for this whole tournament).
I'll never understand how a wiiide open college shooter can only barely catch the far side of the rim from the side from three. Or catch the backboard before iron from out front from three. Hyper shooters dont even do that. The gunners do, not the shooters. Voluntarily refrain, for a better shot, please. And it's not that far.
