Losing Miles is a mark on the coaching staff. They started playing him over Sisley. That was a complete waste of time. Everyone would have rather lost with Sisley on the floor to give him more minutes.
Sisley can’t feel very good about where things are. I know he really wants to be at IU, but he doesn’t need another year like this past one.

The problem with a collection of transfer troubidors is that they are not likely to stick around for the campus beauty if the team isn't winning. Dorn fits this criteria perfectly. He did enough to garner interest and he can go be an 8th man somewhere on a team that looks like a tourney lock.
DeVries has to build this thing from the ground up. And he hasn't coached a team without his son for a really long time. Its a big challenge. Gotta find diamonds.

4. I think he can coach but the he has to put together a roster with some talent…and it has to be this year
@spartans9312 Are these players who left being shown the door or are they leaving on their own? We will find out if this coming season is better as far as talent. Also,if they are more talented are they coached well

The only player from last years roster who had eligibility left I might have wanted back would be Harris. But I don't know since he did not play. Defenders is what we need, so that's not Dorn, not Ristic. Miles and Drake? Ehhh... I was hopeful about Acimovic, Ristic, Harris, since I hadn't seen them much if at all so thought two of them might be intentional redshirts. But probably would have soured if we had seen them.
I don't think we need to wait until next fall to know that we are much more talented. Wilkerson the only higher end talent gone. DeVries was a solid player but not great. That's about it.

See where old friend Nick Dorn is going to follow the foot steps of Malik Reneau and transfer to Miami. Out of interest I will follow how Nick performs with the Hurricanes.
@openwheel tbh I really don’t think the expansion will change much. You are only gonna watch the Tuesday Wednesday games if your school is in it. The tourney starts Thursday and brackets will be filled out based on the results of Wednesday.
I won’t count us making the tourney unless we are playing on Thursday Friday.

I completely agree. And our coach should be held to that level. Meaning play in games don't count
@hoosiers94 if he is in the play in game this year or even on the bubble whatsoever he should 100% be fired. We spent a shit ton of money and have easily enough talent to be a top 25 team. Should be a 6 seed at the floor this year.
