Open Questions for the Hoosier backup QBs against Howard
1. Do you give Wilson the remainder of the game after Hoover is pulled?
2. Do you get Cherry and Bell a series a piece to show their wares in the 4th Q?
3. How many PAs do the Hoosier backup QBs get?
4. Who is getting the targets on these PAs?
I would certainly like to see Cherry get some snaps in. He is the next in line that might be considered the future so how can he get ready if he does not get some experience?
“If I were the Coach” 😉😎, I’d give Hoover the entire first half and 7 minutes of the 3rd quarter (or 7 TD’s, whichever comes first); then I’d put Wilson in for the remainder of the game…
Western Ky is the game I’d do my best to get Wilson most of the third and Cherry most of the fourth…
That said I trust Cig to make the best decision based on his real knowledge of what type of and how much work the entire QB room needs and whether Hoover may need every snap to get ready for the Big Ten…
@76-1 Maybe. But it sure didn't look like he needed a whole lot more to get ready. I'm trying not to get too far out over my skis on this, but I did place a $25 wager we'll get back-to-back Heismans. Paid handsomely last year when I took Fernando in late July.
