@walt542 Those other schools would try to slip a roofie into IU's drink for "crashing" the party.
IU crashing the scene so quickly and seemingly effortlessly is the issue. It’s inconceivable to the bluebloods and any SEC fans. I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. On top of coming out of nowhere IU has the betting odds heisman candidate. The “theys” don’t like it. Imagine being a Purdue fan right now. Seeing this happen. If IU basketball finishes top 5 and beats Purdue this year that fanbase will get real quiet.
The people that didn’t go to the school are the worst of the bunch. I hadn’t talked to an old friend in several years. Because IU is good, and now on OSU’s radar, he went completely unhinged on me without prompt. It was odd as hell.

Some of them are already worried

@paterade they are either the most or least self aware fan base. No in between. They either admit they are pompous narcissists or they don’t.
@tr32 I have great respect and admiration for what IU has accomplished. Mom would be thrilled. I'm sorry that I offended you with my tongue-in-cheek remark about Michigan being Iran.
I believe Mendoza will win the Heisman. What a time to be a Hoosier!
@d-b-cooper It’s funny because for the most part, the Purdue fans I’ve seen have been pretty good. Not trying to diminish our accomplishments, but certainly hoping Ohio State knocks us off our pedestal.
@zeke4ahs Purdue fans thought we were a one year gimmick last year, they've accepted we are now a football school. I think they accept it because they know how little the Purdue administration values athletics.
It all makes sense really if you notice where the most negative posts originate; from fans of the entitled teams (both the B1G and SEC) because they and their team's ranking/seed in the playoffs is dampened by IU's success. Also, bucknut fans, bama fans, GA crazies, and others are the most invested fans and therefore more boisterous. I see the occasional boast by IU posters but for every one IU fan claiming IU will kick "team A's" ass, there are 100 others by opposing fans claiming IU couldn't win a game in the SEC and/or will once again get their clocks cleaned by OSU. Meanwhile, SEC fans still cling to claiming their victories of TENN and South Carolina are "quality wins" despite both of those programs winning ZERO games against a descent team this year.
@hooky cute Purdue coed... must be fake profile or AI.
Probably transferred in from Ball State.

Why are Ohio State fans such insecure little b—-ches?
Because Michigan...
A good friend will bail you out of jail, but your best friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying "that was f***ing awesome"
when you compare michigan and osu fan bases how do you compare and contrast?
@texasrifle Both fan bases are annoying as heck. However, Ohio State is just a little bit more toxic
