When would you expect the game time for the Illinois game to be announced?

Is it almost always two weeks prior so maybe Monday or could it be the Monday after Indiana State?  TIA

Game times are usually announced 12 days prior. There is a 6 day window too.

However, I believe this will be a noon NBC game.

yes, NBC not Fox

@zeke4ahs I love noon games. I get home at a normal hour.

Alright, there may be a change here from what I’m hearing from a source at NBC. They are trying to make a push for the NBC prime time game instead of noon, but have USC in that slot right now

Fox also in play too. Lots of ongoing discussions. Wouldn’t be surprised if they use the six day window option to figure it out

@thehoosierhuddle since when does NBC have a noon slot? Thought it was ND at 3:30 and then the 7:30 slot

@cigten I had a copy of the call sheet for NBC. IU was listed with broadcasters for it. It’s probably a one off. These TV drafts get funky.

@thehoosierhuddle gotcha. I would love for it to be big noon or NBC at 7:30. Anything else is a letdown

@thehoosierhuddle why would NBC commit to to USC v Michigan State when they knew it was almost certain that IU and Illinois would be undefeated and in the top 20?🤦‍♂️

@ccmac because they thought they’d have IU-Illinois at noon, ND-Purdue at 3:30 and USC-MSU at 7:30

There's really only two B1G games that I would think could go in the noon slot, and that's our game and Maryland at Wisconsin.  The other two games without kickoff times set yet are west coast games, so it seems unlikely they'd make them do a 9am kickoff.  Arizona St at Baylor could be in play for Fox in the noon spot.  Neither is ranked, but ASU was and is receiving votes and Baylor is receiving votes.  Texas Tech at Utah maybe?  But that would be a 10am local time kickoff in SLC, so not sure if that would happen.

So, my prediction is Big Noon Kickoff on Fox and I think we'll know at or around 1pm today.
