We look?  I can surmise from the score we played better than last week especially in red zone

Teams seem to find the holes in our zones.

Other than that, I liked it. Thought we looked good.

The second half looked like 2024 Indiana.

Our first half looked like Penn State vs FIU today.

They played their 2nd QB most of the game and he threw the ball OK. Looked like we didn't expect that. Safety play and Sharpe were suspect at times.

Their 2nd quarterback probably won the job now. He looks talented. Good to see they got snaps for the next guy too without waiting until the very end. Although he's probably behind Dexter going forward. But good thinking.

@openwheel I thought Dexter got hurt.

If he did there wasn't any mention of it on TV that I heard.

They looked today like what we all were hoping we would look last week.

Nice to see Kellan Wyatt have a strong game. Missed spring practice, maybe that's why he said camp was stressful. Cig has said about so many players making big gains the last few spring practices. So Wyatt started behind.

@openwheel Wyatt made so many tackles downfield...good on his hustle, bad on the rest of the D.

I''m happy with an end who still has his linebacker instincts to make a play.

Our defense really misses West, Carpenter, Walker and Asbury.  None of this junk happened on their watch.  The replacements aren’t up to their level.  Not even close.  And Cig is right.  When you have guys that come to you from winning cultures, that carries over.  Our portal class this year  were largely starters on bad teams.  The staff needs to completely reprogram their minds.  Clean out all the bad mental habits and loser mentality.  Staff has a lot of work to do on this current group of portal guys.

And that's why we schedule like we do.

Being in the portal as much as we have to be right now is tough, and this year's portal class (like all the players that entered) was weaker than two years ago.

It will be nice when we get our internally developed high school kids going and we don't have to portal so much...
