He has a simple post on X with a pic basically of the ground and him saying Just Ridiculous.
Anyone have any insight?
There are a lot of rumors going around. None of them have been confirmed. He has done posts like this is the past at MSU

Yeah we don’t do drama and pretty sure CIG doesn’t either. Lots of rumors on Twitter.
Brody Sheetz from On3 says he heard what happened and the hammer is coming. Not sure what that means but doesn’t sound good.
Lotta vague posting going on.
@zeke4ahs Brody Sheetz is a parody/sham account and is incredibly unreliable. Just FYI
I heard he found out silver cleats were a no go as well
@zeke4ahs You're pretty sure Cig doesn't do drama? Only pretty sure?
I was super excited when Marsh committed and he's certainly an uber talent, but anyone posting anything pertaining to a gripe with their team/company/family on SM is generally wrong and a drama queen. I don't know what happened, but I'm confident if it needs addressing Cig will handle it directly, not on SM.
@kkott Could be the case... but Cig, and his program, aren't immune to having to deal with things like this... whatever thing this is...
Cig is always going to hold the staff and team to high standards. But nowadays, completely avoiding Social Media drama is going to be pretty much impossible.
I'm sure he and the staff will handle it as well as any staff could though. Hope its a minor thing, and I hope everyone moves on from it soon. We're pretty deep in the WR room, but Marsh is a difference maker. We won't be as good without him, as we could be with a dialed in version of him.
For the sake of argument I'll grant that there's drama going on, although it seems to be more whispers and speculation at this point.
WR always seems to be the diva position.
Even though the transfer portal has changed the world of college football, Cig still holds all the cards here:
1) WR is a really good position for us this season
2) Cig is WAY too old school to let a guy disrupt his thing. Beyond that, Cig strikes me a bit as a guy who takes a whole lot of pride in the team being a reflection of him. I can't envision him being indecisive about what to do with a guy. Definitely more like Gene Hackman in Hoosiers playing with 4 guys on the floor to make a point.
3) Right or wrong, being ultra talented gives you more slack than being a walk-on. Marsh is talented but he ain't THAT talented if he's going to be locker room issue.
4) Marsh hasn't been around long enough to be a leader of any particular group of guys there that he'd be a distraction or otherwise be able to influence many to be disgruntled too
5) With it being year 3, there are enough guys who know/get the system/culture they've installed. Especially the guys who rode that train to Miami last year as contributors. Even a super talented guy will get a stern STFU from championship level guys who want to take a crack at running it back
@tmft Nobody has any idea what the post is about. The rumors have gone from injury, to suspension to his bank account was hacked. I have talked to a couple michigan state writers and they did say he posts stuff like this and it usually has nothing to do with football.
The only people making drama are the fans lol. He posted a picture of his foot and people are acting like it’s some big coded message.
And yes, Brody Sheetz is just some MSU student. It’s an act.
I have talked to a couple michigan state writers and they did say he posts stuff like this and it usually has nothing to do with football.
If that's the case, then that brings to mind Cig's earlier comment about when he chewed him out for the gold shoes and he said "I don't think that happened very often at the other place!" I'd say he needs to have a similar discussion about drama queening on SM. I was super excited about NM when he committed. Become less so if this is his MO. Just a distraction no one needs.
@packtherock It's just a distraction, regardless. Look at the post, do you not see that 2 of his teammates responded? Guaranteed the staff is getting peppered about this. Unnecessary distraction, and I'd agree: "Just ridiculous!"
