But all I can think about is fat boy coming in with the Illini in Week Four. Win like Nebraska and we are off and running. Get beat and we were overrated last year too. I hope we whip them boys up. could not agree more, on all counts. If we are going to be taken seriously we need to keep playing like and being as successful as the big boys. If we are favored we need to win, period. We can't build the reputation of be a tough winner if we don't win the ones we'refavored. Look at Iowa, for example, they don't win every game but they seem to win the ones they are favored, and I perceive them to be a tough out for almost everybody.I know we play one game at a time, etc., etc.

I don't care for Bielema either, but I respect him for ruffling the SEC's feathers.
Can we really be mad about Bielema running up the score on us when Cigs does the same thing to other teams?
That said, I do hope we can run the score up on the Illini and make it a statement game.

I’m so tired of hearing about Illinois. Sure they went 10-3 last year. But they also pulled out some tight games like Nebraska & Rutgers. They also gave up 49 points to Purdue! 49 POINTS TO PURDUE.
Call me unimpressed.

I may be remembering wrong (liberal bias!) but I don't remember Cig keeping the first team in during the fourth quarter and running big hit plays against the teams we curb stomped.

We did go for it on 4th and long against Purdue when it was well in hand....not that I am complaining but cigs said he never lets his foot off the gas because it could be the difference between making the playoffs or not

I've always loved Bielema. I thought he was an idiot for leaving Wisconsin. I hold no grudge for him destroying us in that game. That said, it's a huge game for our season. Lose that one and then you're looking at a POTENTIAL 3-game losing streak.
