@mushroomgod Cig isn’t leaving IU. Not for that job anyway. If he continues to get support from admin he’s not leaving.

Cig ain’t going to VT — they generate $30M+ less per year than our athletic dept (mostly media rights).  Our FB program probably has a little more NIL than they do (maybe a decent amount more) and they would seriously struggle to afford Cig and staff.

Plus the ACC is going to go kaboom in five years and VT isn’t going to be in demand from the B1G and SEC.  

If Cig keeps up the extremely good results, I’d only worry about obviously big FB programs in the B1G and SEC (and two in the ACC) — these could happen but they’re not too likely imo, but no need to get into that right now, it’s all about Illinois at the moment.
