Thank you for reading Hoosier Huddle
Awesome. He’s got some great stats as well, the most impressive of which is never dropping a ball, but I’d put his highlight reel up against anybody in the game, including Buckeye #4. Not saying 80 is better, especially when taking yac into account, but he makes remarkable catches routinely…
He’s such a nice kid and I think it comes through on tv. He also blocks his tail off and spent his whole career playing special teams too. And I think because of all that we maybe don’t quite appreciate his talent, as weird as it sounds to say.
because he’s a special one.

I've been watching college football for roughly 60 years, and I've never seen any college receiver come close to the # of difficult catches Carley B has made.
To get closer to his ultimate potential, he needs to continue to improve his route running, so that he needs to make fewer difficult catches.
Can’t credit cig for finding this diamond in the rough since he was recruited by TA but he definitely fits the mold of being under recruited, doing the dirty work and working his way up through the system. Credit cig and staff for working with him and putting him in places where he can succeed. Think that’s what I love most about this staff is that they tailor the system to benefit the players not force the players to fit their system
Lynn Swann made some consistently impressive ones and Coach Mallory had Ernie Jones playing better than the eventual Heisman winner (Brown up at ND) but that’s pretty rarified air when you’re discussing those two college receivers and you’re right…; game in game out over the past two seasons he may well have played better than both of them.
Charlie Becker is Money when you absolutely, positively have to have a Clutch, Key play made.
