I tend to think that's not it. In the teaser videos, the new mascot has sleeves down to the elbow (not a bball jersery). I also think the new mascot will have longer hair for the beard/mane -- whatever it's called on a bison.

There actually is mascot training school. There are a few different people who will wear the costume that are being trained.People do love mascots, & INDIANA has received gobs of positive pub from "Hoosier The Bison". Is Aug. 30 here yet?
Whoever wears the suit needs to be really good and know how to engage with the crowd, especially the kids. I wonder if there's some kind of mascot training school one can go to.
