Louisville @ Miami. -   Brohmbardi can really help us with a convincing upset.   Strengthen Indiana's end if season claim to a top 4 CFP seed.

Oregon @ Rutgers. -  Hoping for a Duck beat down to jumpstart their ascension back into the top 5.

Tenn@ Bama -  Need Vols to muster a win here.to remove chance an SEC  1 loss Champ Bama can grab a top 4 seed over a possible 1 loss Indiana.

Coachless Penn St @ Iowa.   Hoping Iowa can snuff out any remaining morale of this PSU team.  Sidenote, Iowa is any sort of  second half offense against Iowa St. away from being ranked in the top 15.

USC @ Notre Dame -  All true Hoosier fans and message board posters should be rooting for USC to ascend to the 4th B1G CFP spot and bury any chance Notre Dame has to make it due to the CFP payout money on the line.

Plus any secondary recruiting benefits from being the hands down best football team in the state.

There's a few other poll fraud SEC teams in action, root for chaos and bad play imo

I agree with your takes.

Specific to the IU race to the conference championship game....The 4 scariest teams in the B1G (outside of IU) is OSU, Oregon, Iowa and Illinois.

Oregon and Iowa each only have 1 loss but we hold a 2-game lead on both due to owning the head-to-head tiebreaker.

Illinois has 2 losses and we own the head-to-head so we have a 3 game lead there.

USC has one loss but plays Iowa at home and at Oregon so a loss in either of those games puts them at 2 conference losses and out of our hair.  Therefore, yes, a win on Saturday vs ND eliminates a wonky independent team from making the CFP.

Michigan was the team I was most worried about because their schedule is brutally easy outside of OSU.  Now that they lost to USC and have a conf loss, they're likely to have a 2-losses after OSU.  Then again, OSU hasn't beaten UM since before COVID was a thing.

Nebraska is now the 1 loss team I am keeping a close eye on.  They get USC and Iowa and I surmise they will lose one or both but that's their toughest opponents.

Washington is a 1 loss team but they get Michigan, Illinois and Oregon, so I feel like they aren't in our hair.

Minny has 1 loss but they go to Iowa and to Oregon. Not happenin.

UCLA has 1 loss but they play us....

NW has 1 loss but they play UM, @USC and @Ill.
