Old friend alert
I hope he lands somewhere he can succeed
@pazhoosier ... If he asks to come back, I'd take him.... We could use a good back-up at TE...... 😛
I cant see Foley after Cig didnt keep him the first time. Maybe. But I wouldnt mind him back. I was bummed we lost him, only on rumors of potential. Found a few nice highlights from this year on grabs.
Says either Cig or ,an, Indiana coach talked to Tulsa, but not really about grabbing Foley. Incredulous that Foley could catch apparently.
Tulsa Announcer briefly talks Foley and Indiana coach.
Tayven needs a Woodson to get him over the hump. He has so many mediocre games, with some nice throws sprinkled in.
Well, someone will pay him a salary.

Right now, there is no indication that IU will welcome back former players that left like they did with Lou Moore, Benson and EJ Williams. It could change as more names pop up.
A question for the community...pretend you were an all-powerful tsar and could pluck any quarterback that is expected to play college football next season and place him on IU's roster (for example, Fernando is not expected to play CFB next season, can't pick him...Arch Manning is, you could pick him), the cost of said player does not factor into the equation at all, who would you pick to lead IU's offense in 2026?
I bring this up because I continue to read "IU should get a portal QB" followed by some version of "every QB out there would consider IU, look what the staff did with Fernando". So, I'm curious about who the "dream candidate" would be for anyone that wants to respond.
@tjinman1987 if Sam Levitt was smart he would come to IU. However he is chasing cash. Yes I am a bit bitter about him leaving ASU.
@lncolnpk Sam Leavitt has been linked to IU by aggregator sites and certain IU reporters that we won't be discussing here (ha) but it would be genuinely shocking to me if Indiana pursued Sam Leavitt for a single second.
@tjinman1987 that Newsweek article didn’t make much sense. Weird source too.
@lncolnpk IU is not going after Sam Leavitt...He'd be a disaster of a fit in this culture. Not to mention he had season ending surgery and his availability for spring practice is unknown. Others may ignore those facts for some X clout, but for the price he is going to demand, IU won't get within a mile (figuratively) of him.
I would like Colton Joseph. He has some wheels. Let him come in and complete with Alberto and see who wins the job. I still think it is probably Alberto's job to lose but we definitely need some experienced depth.
Colton Joseph would make a good blend with the Hoosier offense. Both he and Alberto would be head and shoulders better with their fierce competition to start. Cherry would also benefit bunches.
Julian Sayin, Ty Simpson or Dante Moore.A question for the community...pretend you were an all-powerful tsar and could pluck any quarterback that is expected to play college football next season and place him on IU's roster (for example, Fernando is not expected to play CFB next season, can't pick him...Arch Manning is, you could pick him), the cost of said player does not factor into the equation at all, who would you pick to lead IU's offense in 2026?
