Sorsby to LSU seems like a TTU problem.

@tammany also probably means Chambliss will be back at Ole Miss when/if NCAA gives him the medical redshirt.

@iugradman more ND alums playing in the NFL than IU…that’s the history that matters, most likely.

i hope you’re right on all this.  Obviously IU has a ton of momentum, right now.  But taking my biased IU hat off… Notre Dame probably can give more money.  That’s gonna be most kids primary variable.  If it’s not Marsh’s, then system and role.  Decent chance Cooper and Becker come back…that’s less of a feature role for Marsh, than he’d likely have at ND.  And I’d say CJ Carr will be one of the better returning QBs in the country.  If those things aren’t the deciders…it’s hard to visit NDs facilities and walk away not blown away.  They’re markedly better than IUs.

I despise ND.  Sounds like I’m glazing them.  Just being realistic.  The one thing I can’t account for…our coaching staff and how incredible and effective they are right now, and how impactful that could be on Marsh.  I love that we’re getting so many elite guys seriously considering us.  If the staff can sniff out who the guys are from this new higher caliber pool, that also fit their program from a mentality standpoint…we could be entering in to Saban-esque like years at IU.  With or without Marsh.

IU’s coaching staff is second to none. That should be the difference maker if the money is equal. Notre Dame’s facilities are better but it’s not like IU’s are bad. Texas Tech has the best facilities in the country. That didn’t prevent them getting shut out in the biggest game in program history.

@iugradman Sorsby’s girlfriend is going to break up with him! She already transferred to Tech. Wonder if she is an athlete?

Cooper's not gone? I see him mocked anywhere between 2nd and 4th rounds.

I think she is a volleyball player. Has Sorsby been confirmed to LSU? I know he was taking a second visit, but when I first heard it I just assumed he was using LSU as leverage to get more money from TT. I have a hard time believing he is going anywhere else unless his GF hasn’t signed papers yet.

@bradstevens I would say it’s 50/50 with Cooper. He will probably get evaluated and see where it goes. If it’s a day 3 pick, he’d be better off coming back

If Cooper comes back and we get both Marsh and Livingstone I would be absolutely giddy. Cooper, Marsh, Becker, Livingstone, Chandler, and Bond would have to be one of the deepest WR rooms anywhere. Even without Cooper which I have been assuming that is a really good group. It sounds like our offense could be in really good shape if we can add in some experienced OL as well.

@olympian97 A crystal ball prediction was made on 247 for LSU to land Sorsby.

@thehoosierhuddle they seemed pretty high on him in the spring. Do you anticipate him staying?

@evillehoosier8 I do. He’s really good and he’ll probably start, if healthy
