@dht not sure how much of an impact it will have on Fridays game, but having our Coaching staff all intact, in Bloomington, and 100% focused on Indiana is an advantage over what Oregon has going on. But the Ole Miss win over Georgia shows it might not be as big a factor as it would seem.
The Hoover and Marsh news is exciting, for sure. But I still hope we’re targeting higher end line guys with our money.
And like I said when he hit the portal, joining CJ Carr, and everything ND will have to offer him…I’ll be pretty surprised if Marsh doesn’t pick ND.
Owen Long visiting? Let’s get him

Hoover is a more proven QB than CJ Carr and the only thing better ND might offer Marsh is more money.
@iugradman this all depends on what’s important to Marsh, obviously. But let’s not let the Utopian run we’re on right now blind us from reality. Notre Dame has more of just about everything, than IU. Money, facilities, exposure, profile, history, NFL ties and connections. IU has a better football team, plays in B10, and might have a staff Marsh ends up liking better? I’ll be surprised if Marshs hot buttons aren’t pushed by the many advantages ND does still have over IU.

REALLY good group of players here today.... some difference makers, IMO.
The start of this portal class could be really good.

People on the board were talking about this kid, I think.

Is Hjelle visiting?
@iunorth I think we have a better chance of getting Marsh than people believe. I heard earlier that "Indiana
Brock Schott is suppose to visit tomorrow.
With Sorsby heading to LSU, that makes Texas Tech desperate for a QB. They are now pursuing Sam Leavitt. I wonder if demand for Hoover starts to go up now given the scarcity of good portal QBs.

IU gets plenty of exposure now and history is irrelevant. The last two seasons should prove that.
