Richard will have two remaining years of eligibility. Per 247 Sports he had a total of 28 offers coming out of high school. One happened to be James Madison. In 2025, Richard rushed for 749 yards at Boston College (5.2 YPC) and caught 32 passes.
Dang, Turbo is a good back. Just watched many minutes of his highlights on youtube. Acceleration of Kaleon, w Hemby speed. Ive seen elite guys with better cuts, but Turbo runs smart and tough and cuts well. Always maximizing what is there, looking for more. Nice hands too. Thats a football player. I really hope we get this guy!

@dht I would imagine a lot of guys will sit back and take a look at what's best for them. I don't imagine the "left behind" thing is that big a factor across the board. Some of those guys were probably new or hadn't had a ton of PT, and they may have just decided to stay at the school, and asst coaches, that recruited them. With Cig, we know he's not above taking someone back in the fold and will want them based on factors beyond their football skills, but it won't surprise me if we end up with another JMU player or 2 at all.

Agree. And guys he would want now were two years younger when he left, even if they were already on the JMU team. They would know the difference between their readiness then and now. Little chance of hanging on to hard feelings.
Yeah, we'd better get some of those guys before blowing the budget on a QB and RB .
