@openwheel -Right, but if those positions deplete our NIL, then we're in trouble there.
Then we just roll with Alberto at QB . We'd be OK
If the lines aren't at least as strong, that's more trouble.

Yeah, we'd better get some of those guys before blowing the budget on a QB and RB.
From what I’ve heard, I’m not too worried about blowing through our budget with these two guys (assuming the commit rumors are true).
Some people may not agree with me, but that’s just my anon point of view for what it’s worth.
Sorry if this is a dumb question or a downer, but are these reliable sources? I try to be a healthy skeptic of news on X
Some of these burners have good information, some of them get the scoop, some are wrong and try to be first, by ZYN has been right before, but he's also been wrong.
@pisiem this guy is really good at predicting. He’s got good sources. Only reason I posted it.
I’m sure it’s been said but I just hate the timing if the portal. I’d hate for it to be a distraction for IU and possibly Fernando.
never had to worry about this until now.
Nice win to sell kids now going forward.
The next week should be fun.
I wonder if we are paying guys extra to not enter the portal until the playoff run is done? Like we did with Tayven someone had said last year.
Alberto has to make a decision, if they havent already agreed to terms. And others. Cig did make it sound like re-signing of many key guys was already done though.

@openwheel Easier to stay with the team when you are going for a national championship. Having made that statement, 3 players from Miami went into the portal after their victory over OSU. One was Brock Schott a tight end from Leo, Indiana. Schott was a 4 star recruit and rated #3 as an Indiana high schooler. Schott played very little as a freshman, catching just 2 passes this season.
@boogie I am sure you know, but this kid is from Indiana.
Fun fact, Miami signed two TE’s in this freshman class. My daughter‘s best friend’s brother is the other one (from Cincinnati) and was the one who got to play in blowouts early in the year.
Schott was offered by Indiana. I realize college sports is a big money business but for me it's strange to see a kid hit the portal when his team is still in the national championship hunt. There will be good offers remaining after the championship game.

His parents live like four miles down the road from me.

Time to put a boogie in their ear about how good IU is
