My favorite part about the Cignetti regime, well other than kicking everyone's butt, is seeing the recruiting.

Looking forward to recruiting really ramping up, now that he's the biggest name in football and players seeing guys transfer in and kick ass, and develop and kick ass. Will give us real depth at every position.

Can't get everybody of course. Many five star guys are going to go for the biggest bag, and that depends on team needs. We paid wisely for our QB, but didn't seem to overspend on anyone.

As far as I am concerned, FB should be eating first on NIL.  FB is much bigger than MBB.

The resource level MBB is at this season is enough and MBB needs to earn it if they want more.

Yes, if DeVries does what Cignetti did he won't have to worry about money or NIL.

Yea.  Getting recruited by Indiana is sort of an honor now.  I've heard some people say IU is keeping quiet on our targets (to the extent that's possible) to stop other schools from getting involved just because they believe IU has a good eye for talent.

Now that Cig has a new contract with a substantial salary increase, what about he coaching staff? They are what makes the program complete. It would not be right to not reward them too and keep them at IU long term as well.

@iufan-ga25 Both coordinators got hefty raises in the offseason and usually those contracts get done after the season.

Details aren’t out yet, but it’s expected this contract has a staff $ pool bump.

This contract is really Cig signing off on the plans for the program.  That makes me feel quite good.
