This should be a straightforward case right? Why are things so difficult with the NCAA?
I did not even know there was a problem. Think this might be another way for the NCAA to screw IU?
Leaving anything up to the NCAA is a crap shoot at best. He has been practicing though, so if he wins, he’ll be ready to go
That’s funny. I was literally about to ask about this last week, but changed my mind. After seeing the Pavia case I thought he had a good case for an extra year, but I didn’t realize this season was in jeopardy. I was thinking of next season. I think this season is a no brainer as this will I believe be his 4th at this level. All he has to argue is his lack of nil access and reference the pavia case if this year is an issue.
From all indicators, the coaches think he's gonna win. He played in the scrimmage they just had.
The people at their stupid NCAA org aren't about to pay attention to any previous court rulings. They still live in the days when they could do whatever they wanted.
Obviously I have no knowledge whatsoever of the workings of the NCAA. ;D Just spitballing how dysfunctional (and at times petty and almost corrupt) some of the public dealings have appeared.
It was interesting to hear Cig mention that the difference between a lot of these guys who were denied and the Pavia case was that he is still within a 5 year window. These others are at 5.5. Hopefully he can still win it though.
@olympian97 Thanks. Hopefully he prevails and 5 vs. 5.5 doesn't matter. Could really use him this year.

Very annoying.
The Judge will do the right thing here & reinstate Louis Moore
