@kelly_32 Just four days until the national championship game between THE Indiana Hoosiers and the u. Time for the prediction thread!
@hooky I'm not a Patron so maybe that's how I missed it. Really love his analysis.
I'm not either. If it doesn't show up in my twitter feed, I'm SOL.
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

@hooky He also said in watching Miami, he's picked up on a tell that allowed him to know run or pass every time. I wonder if our coaches have picked up on that too?
I wish that wasn't out in the open. If he did, you know our staff did.

@hooky yeah, I was just teasing. As you said, if he saw it, I'm confident they did too. I'm not on his Patreon, but he said he was going to share it on there and then delete the video. Would've been nice if that wasn't known until after the game!
Sam says IU by 2-3 scores. Seems very confident.

Line being bet down as expected. 7.5
@d-b-cooper late line moves are much more informative than early line moves, usually. Ohio State's defense is the best comp for Miami's. I think OSU's is probably better, overall, than Miami's. I think, just based off how they've looked in the CFP, they're markedly better than Oregon, defensively. Offensively, they're probably similar to Oregon, overall.
Pretty easy keys to the game, in my opinion. Who runs the ball better... who protects their QB better... and then who wins the turnover battle... Actually, I'll alter it a little bit... If IU runs the ball well, protects Mendoza well, and doesn't turn it over much... they'll win easily.
Miami does have 2 wins against teams approaching IU's caliber. ND and OSU. Both games were low scoring, ugly, games. But I wouldn't say Miami outplayed either of those teams, overall. They got some key turnovers, made the games ugly, and capitalized and stole those games. Just gotta hope IU doesn't allow the game to follow suit. Any sort of clean, well played game, and IU rolls. Injuries, key turnovers, blown coverages at key times... and Miami is obviously more than capable of beating IU tonight.

Late line moves mean nothing. The line moved toward Oregon as the game approached.
Yep. Many taking Miami and the points waited for the line to get as high as possible. Expected.Late line moves mean nothing. The line moved toward Oregon as the game approached.

as a former bookie in Bloomington .. late line moves one way or another are to hedge the bets already placed. And likley the house wins 90% of bets. Pretty simple
Just for fun, here's my crazy parlay prop bet. I'm playing with house money after a big haul last week.
IU straight up
Cooper to score a TD
Becker to score a TD
