@gthomas Yeah, it's funny seeing Miami point to close wins for IU in mid-season as a reason we'll struggle vs them, while completely ignoring their mid-season losses to Lville and SMU.

Feels a lot like Bama to me: great athletes and just let them run off the leash, and I think IU will take advantage of that. Expecting we'll try and get them to jump and then have them thinking about the count, and then mix up runs and passes, and probably hurry them up a bit at times. I think we will have problems against their lines on both sides, but we've had time to gameplan. I think if we can just play our game, and not let their size, and energy get us into trying to do things we haven't (turnovers!), we will win. So many interesting matchups: their run game vs our D, Toney vs Ponds (I assume), can we get pressure on Beck, can we run the ball... This team has proven itself, time and again, and I think this close to their ultimate goal, we'll be prepared and win.

I thought the same thing.  Both teams are playing much better in the postseason than they have all year.  It's almost fruitless to look at games from 2-3-4 months ago

To be fair, this is a different Miami squad than the September/October version. Both teams are peaking. The thing is, IU's peak is Mount Everest. Miami's is not.

@dbmhoosier BuffinPrime hasn't posted anything about IU in a month.  I thought that Pond's INT would have sparked a comment.  He knows Ponds personally and they communicate regularly, so he says.  I thought he would have analyzed the play for his audience.

He's been pretty vocal about Indiana on twitter.

Love that Josh Pate is picking Miami.  He's been wrong about us all season.

@dbmhoosier Southerner from FL. Even when those guys believe, they just can't go against their roots.

@kelly_32 For this game, or just in general? I remember when he did the preview show with Sam, he said he was 10 out of 10 confident IU would beat OR. Sam asked what the worst matchup was from the other game and he said Miami, and that they could give IU trouble.

And Sam said the IU/OR game was the national title game.  For Miami to win they need to do what they did to OSU and that's hit us in the mouth early.  Get up 10-0, 14-3, etc and hope we get out of sync and can't recover.  Survive the 1st quarter and we win.

@kelly_32 For those interested, College Football with Sam just posted preview video with BuffedInPrime.

PS, didn't seem to be to fearful of the matchup; said right now he sees us as a -14ish favorite! Said his big concern would be if IU got down multiple scores, and how we'd react. Also has some good comments on the portal stuff. Will not be surprised if he at some point gets added to the IU staff, if he's interested in coaching. Sounds like there is a ton of mutual respect there!

If he's actually betting his picks, he must be damn near broke by now.

He's posted a bunch of stuff about IU in the last month.  Not sure why you aren't seeing it.

Here's the INT.  He called a bunch of stuff that was going to happen based on film breakdown.

He's moved a lot of his stuff to a Patreon channel though.

@hooky I'm not a Patron so maybe that's how I missed it.  Really love his analysis.

@hooky He also said in watching Miami, he's picked up on a tell that allowed him to know run or pass every time. I wonder if our coaches have picked up on that too?
