For the life of me I can’t understand why a season ticket holder would sell tickets in mid-October to THAT game. Of all the games, it would seem to be the one you’d absolutely keep.
I understood that strategy back in the day when you knew IU would get blown out and by selling that ticket, you could pay off your season tickets. We had much different expectations back then. But I agree, this game is why you buy season tickets. It would be odd to sell your tickets to see OSU so your tix for North Texas, Howard and Western Kentucky are fully funded.
@yothn ehhh, WPP. With where our program has been, not gonna complain about the difficulties of being an "in-demand" BT team. I'll take noon games all year long if it means we're competing at the top of the B10.
@yothn Well, remember many of those tickets are being gotten by folks named Cavanaugh et al, ie their only intention is to sell them.
And, if you want to hear an interesting stat: heard a podcaster doing a preview/pick of this game and they said NB is like 0-8 or 0-9 in BNK games. Thought that was interesting.
Ain't NO EFFING WAY OSU will have that many people in our stadium.@lonestarhoosier1 the ticket prices will not make a difference to that fan base. They are in it for the kill this year.
From the look at the secondary market prices we have had a good bit of fans sell out for the all nighty dollar.
Would not be a bit surprised to see 8-10k there which makes for such a joyous afternoon🙄
