Definitely didn’t look like the emerging superpower in college football today. There is a loooong way to go to contend with elite teams. Hell, Purdue looked way better.
I watched the first half of the Purdue game last night. That has to be the worst Ball State team in a while. It wasn’t what Purdue was doing. Ball State was just inept. Their QB was playing 4 other positions last year and they moved him back to QB this year. When he had open guys he short-armed the ball. They are sitting at #134 in the rankings. They were really weak up front. Purdue was better for certain than Ball State but hard to take away anything from that game. It may be the worst BSU team in the past couple of decades just based on talent level.
