in my article, i took iu to win and cover at 28-23. i think iu is the better team.
that said, i'm more nervous about this game than any game since cignetti has taken over.
maybe it's because iu was already bowl eligible against nebraska or already had 9 wins before michigan but this is early in the season and could propel them to great things...or, it could mean they just have an "very good" season by iu standards when i think a "great" season is right there for the taking.

I'm nervous about this one. Not really sure why. Illinois just seems more confident and ready. Also because we had 3 big games last season (OSU, MI, and ND) and played poorly in all 3. Kind of feel like this is Coach Cigs Syracuse game. We just have to find a way to win. I see it as a coin flip game.

Probably a bad analogy. Just saying I think some of the shine will come off and fans will lose interest. Cig is never getting fired like Crean did. He's a top 3-4 coach in our conference.

Thats your perception, the way you’re allowing yourself to see it. It’s not reality, to me.

Looking mainly at our DL vs their OL. They’ve given up a lot of QB pressure against lesser competitors. Outside of Beatty, not sure if they have the same level of weapons.
Feels like IU by 10 or more if we handle their blitzes and take care of the ball.

I'm telling you 42 -21 INDIANA. We heard these same concerns about how great Nebraska defense was last year.....not so much. Coach has the teams attention.
