He's a loss for sure, but in today's college football, he's only a off-season away from entering the portal... if that happens then you never know what will happen with him and us.
@boogie I believe there was a report that he took a lower NIL deal so he could get coached by Hartline.
That was my initial reaction as well. Get a check, get coached up, see where you stand and maybe portal. However, things can change quickly in college sports these days.

It was just a couple weeks ago, he was going to be going to Ole Miss. A week or so before that, he was ours to lose.
Nothing is ever done until they sign, and even then, it's not always over. College football is a different animal these days.
A little IUFB recruiting update. It seems as if Miami (FL) is back at the top of the list for Cortez Redding. Should he commit to Miami, IU will look to the portal for another safety.
For all intents and purposes the 2026 class is complete unless they get someone to flip later in the cycle.
