@hoosierific So many games to go. ND lost to NIU. People wanted 3-loss teams in. I am not saying you'll be wrong, but these hot takes after 6 quarters of football are absurd.

Agreed, but still not impressed by a 15 point lead on Kennesaw state at halftime. They should be leading 40-3 on a team I've never even heard of

With Cooper hurt, IU is now thin at receiver and safety. Not good for 6 quarters into the season.

More light booing as IU takes a 21-6 lead into the half. Mostly cheers.

1st Half Thoughts

First quarter was great. Moved the ball, good in the red zone and special teams.

2nd Quarter- Some issues with drops again. KSU receivers making plays. Major issue for me is passing on a 47-yard FG.

IU was better, but still some concerns.

Great way to sum it up, I agree

@bengillard99 Good blocking on that play

While I regarded God as a tyrant I thought my sin a trifle; But when I knew Him to be my Father, then I mourned that I could ever have kicked against Him. When I thought God was hard, I found it easy to sin; but when I found God so kind, so good, so overflowing with compassion, I smote upon my breast to think that I could ever have rebelled against One who loved me so, and sought my good.” C. The good news is I think Mendoza looks better today, but this still doesn’t look like what I expected after last year. Hopefully they can continue to get some rhythm over the next 6 quarters to be ready for IL. Even coach Cig doesn’t seem like himself. He’s earned benefit of the doubt for me though. So, I will blindly trust he is making the right decisions.

My family is big fans of Gattis Pizza. So when the kicker from KS was announced to be from Knoxville TN I yelled out, He's probably had MR. Gattis before!!!

Outside of this game: PSU - 10, FIU - 0 at half. Interesting...

If we don't get a lot better soon Illinois will take us to the woodshed.  PSU and Oregon will look like funerals. It's obviously very early but I'm just not impressed.  Minnesota is currently leading its opponent by about 60 for example.

Cignetty should ask for an update on defensive pass interference, we could use those rule changes to our advantage also.

@thehoosierhuddle I don’t understand why people boo. That’s embarrassing considering our history and people don’t think about the long term consequences of such actions. What if Cig does his best coaching job yet and we make the title game and he leaves for Bama? Those fans will have their bottom lip poked out. Especially when we still haven’t lost anything yet it makes no sense to boo. The product may not look great right now, but let them play and improve.

@olympian97 I think they were booing not being aggressive there.
