Obviously, we are all looking where they will have IU ranked (I would think 5th). However, I am looking for several other things as well:
1) Where does the committee put UCLA and Ohio State. This will say a lot about how they think of scheduling and injuries. Both teams have their backup QBs playing the rest of the regular season. OSU has 2 ranked road losses and UCLA is undefeated, with their only "big" win is a struggling Oregon team. Where is USC ranked ahead of the IU game?
2) How many two loss SEC teams (Ole Miss, Texas, Bama, Tennessee, LSU etc.) are in the top 12.
3) Where is Wake Forest ranked. They can be a bid stealer if they can get to and win the ACC title. All P4 conference winners get an auto bid.
4) How many Big XII teams (Utah, BYU, Texas Tech) are inside the top 12.
5) Who is the top G6 Team?
Things to remember. All P4 champs get an auto bid, as does the top G6 team. If Notre Dame is in the top 12 they also get an auto bid. So really, it is 12 teams for 10 or 11 spots.
