@sharinincarmel Being part of La Costra Nostra pays well, so he'll be fine.

Pavia is Hispanic. He’s also a jerk.

Talk about classless. So glad Fernando won easily over him. That guy is another Johnny Manziel wannabe and won't make it in the NFL. All about himself. Totally the opposite of Mendoza.

@jackskip23 ... but he looks like Sammy "The Bull" Gravano. That's the point of the joke, not his actual ethnicity.

I hope Vandy doesn't win their playoff game.....oh wait....their qb wasn't able to get them there.   Iowa wins that game by 10.

I've never wanted to watch Iowa destroy an opposing QB so much in my life.

I have a feeling the boys from Iowa will show him some B1G football respect

I was sort of rooting for him and Vandy until I started learning more about Pavia and now this. I hope Iowa beats them by 20 and Pavia has an embarrassingly bad game.

I doubt Iowa scores enough to beat them. Hopeful though. They could scheme Pavia into a pick.

I think Pavia will play in the NFL too. Just not as as well as Mendoza. He is like a stocky Doug Flutie. He can run around enough to get throws off or hold up to running it himself. Career mid backup, some years used as the starter for a more desperate team. How is he worse a prospect than Sanders? And Sanders is starting.

He sure is a loudmouth tool though.

He’s not good enough to keep around given all the off-the-field issues which will likely poison his relationship with the franchise and his teammates. If he was an all-pro level player maybe you could tolerate him. He’s a back-up at best.

Can anyone here play this game?

What do you have about his relationship with his coaches and teammates? Vanderbilt fans or media stories say he is liked?

What off field issues? Name calling? Or did he spit on someone, like happens in the NFL now?

What I am saying you can shoot people or violently knock out by uppercut, a woman, and still get a chance in the NFL. He will get a chance.

Either cost himself several draft rounds now or need to be a free agent though. Most of the draft boards say free agent. Some used to say late round pick. But now, after his post-Heisman performance? Free agent, lol.

@openwheel I will admit I haven’t watched every Vanderbilt game and may have a biased view, but I went to one of their free boards to see what some of their fans were saying about the IU disrespect and it seems like they aren’t surprised and I saw someone mention something about an incident during the Bama game. So, it sounds like they all were aware of his character issues and were hoping he could keep them bottled up. If he plays well he will get a chance in spite of his character flaws. Love him or hate him I strongly believe Sanders is better than Pavia. Sanders did all of that at Colorado without really elite coaching. Prime is an elite recruiter and motivator, but he is not an elite developer or imo able to evaluate talent well enough to fit his scheme and I don’t think his assistants are elite as well although I did think it was awesome to have that many former elite players as coaches. Although I was content to see Shedeur drop due to his arrogance he has talent and I think he is much better than Pavia. I don’t see Pavia making it in the NFL. Pff ranks Pavia 18th among QBs on their nfl draft big board and cbs sports doesn’t even list him on their draft board. This guy could very well end up undrafted.

Yeah, what you heard makes more sense then he is some beloved figure inside Vandy and only comes off as a prick everywhere else. Probably right.

I still think he can play. And character, in the NFL? Nice to have but down the list.

Why are people talking about Pavia's pro prospects? There's no room in the NFL for an oompa loompa.
