I thought they moved the CFB games up so no long layoff. For bye teams.
Looking at the B1G in totality, looks like the schedules were conjured by the ADs at Michigan and Ohio St.
Thinking Indiana is the only top half team with back to back roadies.
Then surprise surprise after those back to back roadies, hosting Ohio St. then going to Michigan.
NFL teams only get one bye. And eight home games is great.
First positive that I see is that only USC has a Bye prior to their game at our place... The past few years it "seemed like" nearly everyone had a Bye prior to playing us (a gross exaggeration, but..., it did seem that there were an inordinate amount of them),,,

There were only 2 byes because there were 14 Saturdays between Labor Day and Thanksgiving. We are back to just 13 Saturdays
October 10 through November 21 is a gauntlet. Lot of tough road games too
Im fine with where the bye is located. Would rather have it a little later in the season than towards the start

Ohio State plays Maryland the week before they come to Bloomington. THeir bye is the week after we play them.
Good chance Nebraska is unbeaten when we go there October 10. Oddly enough, Ohio State COULD have two losses before they come to Bloomington (at Texas and at Iowa). I'll go conservative and say they only lose 1 of those.
I expect the Halloween game vs Minnesota to be a real test. 8th straight game, coming off of games @ Neb, vs. OSU, @Mich and right before our bye.
I'm saying we go 10-2 or 9-3.
