About as good as news as we could get. Kamara and Waffle House back. Evan’s sounds like he is on the fence of being able to go or not, I’d prefer we sit him or maybe only let him play a couple drives to knock some rust off before he goes to war with OSU
@hoosierdaddy I think it would be a huge mistake to play him at all. He's vital to our success in the postseason, and we can't risk another injury/reinjury. We can and should beat Purdue without him.
@lbw Franke wasn't mentioned and would think with the super low temps that'd he'd sit out. If you're kicking 58-yard field goals against Purdue, something else went askew
@thehoosierhuddle Agreed. I was thinking more about the big10 championship game. Realize there is more time between games
I am with the majority here. Evans can knock rust off in the B1G Championship. Yes, there is a conference title banner at stake but other than that, I think a loss merely makes us a 3 or 4 seed at worst. Evans will be fine making a comeback in Indy. In the current playoff format, being a 1 vs. a 4 isn't all that impactful anyways.
With that being said, I would love to see IU wearing their home crimson jerseys all playoffs. Breakout the chrome helmets in the national championship. jk ha
@lbw It's also indoors and not 22 degrees, which usually doesn't do wonders for muscle pulls.
@thehoosierhuddle To your point, I would like to see Waffle House sit this one out too. I've played, coached, known way too many people who've struggled with hammies. Seems like whenever you rush them at all, bad things happen.
@mtbrider Yeah. I would think if he wasn’t 100% they’d sit him
I would love to see IU wearing their home crimson jerseys all playoffs
Same. Crimson teams with an intense coach tend to do well in post season games
Just listen to the way Cignetti praised Purdue. Odom wouldn’t even say the word “Indiana” let alone acknowledge the quality of IU’s team. It didn’t take him long to adopt the Purdue attitude.
