@thehoosierhuddle Kiffin learned from the master. There was a story that Saban (or someone on his behalf) called a flight airport in Texas, and had them announce for him to come to terminal XYZ if I remember correctly. It wasn't clear if he was ever at the airport. Took some time but he got his new contract. It wouldn't surprise me if this is just a ploy to be paid $11M/yr. He's done Tennessee and USC, he knows the short leash at those jobs. He'll stay at Ole Miss

Eric Morris, current head coach at North Texas, is reportedly taking the Oklahoma State job. Indiana plays the Mean Green next season and that game potentially got a bit easier, assuming his star quarterback goes to Stillwater with him (along with others from the 9-2 UNT roster).
Meanwhile, Penn State fans on their message boards seem to believe they are closing in on an agreement for a "whale" (Freeman and DeBoer are the most mentioned suggestions) with Bob Chesney of James Madison lined up as a backup option. It is going to be an absolutely wild next 7-10 days.
