I watched decades of crap in multiple sports. It will take more than a couple of good football seasons to make me think the ship has been fully turned around and IU has a competent athletics department.

I got a bunch sh** on Peegs and Btown Banners for not being a sunshine pumper when Allen and Archie were coaching and I was 100% vindicated.

Let's cut our losses and move on from Cig then.  He's similar to those other two, so let's go find us a real one.

No one cares.

And seek help.  Seriously.

I'll give you basketball but Coach Cig is already the greatest football coach in the history of IU football.  These past 2 seasons have been the greatest 2 seasons in program history. And this season will almost assuredly be one of the best too. They may end up.8-4(not my prediction, just saying) and it still would be one of the greatest seasons in IU football history.

When it comes to IU football what exactly do you want? I've been a fan for over 40 years. My entire life. And the past 2 years have exceeded literally everything from previous 40. And then some!

My steak is too juicy and my lobster too buttery.  Whatever shall I do?

Just follow the process. Every steak and lobster has a life and history of it's own. One plate at a time.

Some pundits and IU fans predicted this team will be better than last season’s

Almost nobody said that. 🙄 Some said could be...

Some like me saying any one position group could be better. Except don't see many if any saying that on secondary post Ponds.

... and that no longer appears to be the case.
🤣

What if this ends up Cig's third best team in his Indiana history?! Horror!

I'm optimistic we have a pretty damn good team. Anywhere from pretty damn good at 9-3 all the way up to very excellent at 11-1 or 12-0 .

You do not want to play your best the first game of the year, you want to be playing your best AT THE END. Compare our first game this yr to last

1) nobody scored on a 75 yard run, let alone do it twice this yr

2) margin of victory was greater

3) we lost our starting cb’s in the first qtr

4) qb play was better (more tds than incompletion)

I think we got spoiled by how good our defense was last yr we couldn’t believe what we were seeing. Missed open field tackles, completed passes and the defense couldn’t get off the field. These are problems that can be fixed and with the return of the starters it will plus these coaches have earned our trust they will get it straightened out

@iugradman Are you serious? A couple good football seasons? That seems to be a bit of an understatement, Eeyore.
