@hoosierdaddy I can handle a few Lagers on football game days now. But the basketball teams we keep running out there have forced me to start, middle, and end with something of a much higher proof.
@hooky Yeah. I don't honestly understand collecting bottles and never opening them. I've probably got 60-75 bottles right now with all but 4-5 opened and shared. It's what the stuff is meant for. I like your choices. We did a mini bourbon trail a couple years ago and discovered Maker's 46. It's become my girlfriend's favorite. She can drink the same thing over and over and over. I prefer to change it up...obviously, I guess.

I don't have the space for that many bottles, so I keep the circle small. I have a buddy who calls himself a collector, but he's an enjoyer first. His basement is mostly man cave and he's got around 200 bottles with half of them open. Anytime we're over there, he'll crack a new one. I'm not over there enough!
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

Pilling on the Bourbon discussion. I keep 12-15 bottles around, but it changes. Mine are all open, which is why my stash changes constantly. Consume by the shot over monikered ice balls.
I've earned it. I like the hunt for the retail prices on Pappy, etc. In Alabama that's a quarterly lottery. Fun for somebody with nothing better to do. Go Hoosiers!
