Dabo’s buyout is $60 million. He isn’t going anywhere.
Ehh Cigs chair won’t make another move. Mrs. Cig has something to say,”We ain’t
Honestly just not a concern with Dolson showing his commitment
IU will need a healthy NIL budget to replace some of the production it is losing after this season.
Every team will need to increase its budget. What's your point?
Here's a funny one.
Heard a YouTube media jackass say Arkansas was a threat to swoop in and hire away Cig.
Just doesn't seem likely that he'd leave. You don't have to be a blue blood to make the playoff. And, we are already good. We are better than Florida and Arkansas. And we've shown we will pay for a winner and worship a guy who can go 10-2. Dumb to leave and try to put out those dumpster fires
I honestly think Cig LOVES that he’s doing what he’s doing at Indiana.

That IU needs to keep Cignetti happy by ensuring NIL is competitive. He has said he wants to be in the top third of the conference.
I would be more concerned about losing our coaching staff than losing Cig.
@iufan-ga25 That's bound to happen eventually and not because IU doesn't pay well. If you're a coordinator and can leave for a HC job, you kind of have to do it.
Cignetti knows how to hire the right people and IU is willing to pay.

Wise observation.
If it happens I think Cig will make good replacement hires, but there is risk when you lose a key assistant.
@yothn Yeah, but that game was really 27-3. I was actually really disappointed in the staff for that game - they never even tried to attack until it was too late.
Funny thing about the thread linked is that most of the posters in there don't actually want Cig at all.
@seyton Punting on a late fourth and short sealed the game, but the final score is the final score 27-17.
