Among the things I won in the Bob Hammel auction was a folder containing a bunch of information on the 1945 Indiana team that finished 9-0-1. Bob had done a lot of research for the 50 year anniversary in 1995 that now belongs to me.
Among this is a three page letter from Ben Raimondi, Indiana’s All-American quarterback. I thought I would share it here. I’ve reached out to his granddaughter in hopes that I can return the letter back to the family but I haven’t heard back yet.

Ben Raimondi, All-American INDIANA QB of the undefeated 1945 Big Ten Champions was born in 1925 & died in 2020 at the age of 95.
