Until August 2026. How you feeling? I’m equal parts nervous and excited. Don’t know if I’ll sleep. I’ve never wanted a sporting event more.
@zeke4ahs like you I cannot sleep before these big games. I am grateful beyond belief. As a bears (oof) and Hoosier fan, this has been the best sporting year of my life. IU in particular, who has played sound ball (unlike the cardiac bears). Just special to see as a lover of football. And it’s at my damn Alma mater!!
I cannot to wait to root for fisher, Mendoza, Sarratt and company one more time. What a fine group of men to represent the cream and crimson.
And shout out to Sammy and everyone on here. Not everyone loves IUFB, but man it’s fun that all of us have gotten to see this. And the coverage Hoosier huddles provides is top tier college coverage.
LFG!!! BELT TO BUTT!!!
I'll be grilling the steaks and baking the home made steak fries early tonight...dinner not getting in the way of the pregame show 😆
@hoosierdaddy that Bears game was a fun watch. I had no skin in the game as a Colts and Chargers fan, but this year's playoffs have been absolutely great entertainment all around!

@bcbranimal I’m glad you had fun watching that shit show
. The bears were awful. Shit outside blocking, shit inside blocking, and got murdered on the B gap run on defense all day. I have no clue how we even kept it close. We didn’t even push the pile a single time all game. What a lame OL!!!
Hoosiers are too good to let me down like that. And again, I literally can’t sleep before these games. I love my Hoosiers way more than my bears, even though bears were my first love. I didn’t spend 4 years living the bears life like I did in the fair city of Btown
Slept like a baby. Was surprised. But had a work day so knew I didn't want to be tired tonight. Was up early expecting to have to shovel a lot just to get to the road, but the massive deep drift in front of my car was knocked away by my plow guy. He must have come about 6am, lol, he knows I leave about 630. Easy peasey. White knuckle drive to work due to white outs and it's 25 miles. But schools are closed so a lot less traffic coming head on.
I can get my work done and enjoy the game later. I hope I enjoy the game... Go Hoosiers.
@hoosierdaddy As an Illinoisan, I'm a Bears fan as well. Last night was tough, but they're a year or two ahead of schedule ... their time will come. With that coach and QB, Chicago could rule the North for 10 years.
@bayernfan we need you now more than ever!!
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

I am happy beyond measure that the Bears lost.
Most pundits are picking Indiana. They are overconfident. Their heads aren’t in the game as evidenced by the schmaltzy last practice. Reminds me of when half (and ONLY half lol) the bball team shaved their heads 20 years ago for the BTT and shat the bed. Too much milk and cookies going on. This is gonna get ugly FAST. And I AM out of cookies.
I just don’t have a good feeling about this game.
@bcbranimal I’ve got my chuck roast in the slow cooker. Ready to make cream enhanced crimson mashed potatoes.
Out of cookies though. Oh wait!!! I have a cookie mix. See ya.
