Can you get a sense of the fan split for the game? You think it will be close or does one team appear to have more fans in town?
I know that’s not necessarily a good way to tell but hoping we have at least a bit of a crowd advantage,I know we will be well represented.
I’m 68 and have been going to games since I was 12,still can’t believe I’m typing Indiana and Rose Bowl in the same sentence.Sure wish mom and dad were still here to see this, they were huge fans.

Yesterday it legitimately felt like there was one Bama fan for every 75 Hoosier fans. I’m not exaggerating. Not saying that’s how it will end up, but Pasadena is crawling with IU fans.
And, if you're lucky enough to be in Pasadena, and see Charlie Becker's family, say Hi! I'm a big fan of Charlie Beckers... Mom!

Its always hard to determine based on that. Before the B1G title game, I went to Slippery Noodle at 11:10 (they opened at 11) and the entire bar was 90% Ohio State fans and packed. At that moment, I was stunned and highly concerned about what it would look like in Lucas Oil. However, it was not that inside the stadium so maybe OSU fans used that as a meet-up point. ha It was a sight to see.....a brutal one at that.
From @tjinman1987 there are a ton of IU fans out in LA. On my flight today there are at least a dozen. Saw maybe a hundred at the Indy airport, but bartender said the last few days have been swamped with IU fans traveling
Appreciate the responses, sounds like we are well represented.
I think the crowd will be 2/3 IU fans. Awesome.
IU fans are all over.

Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

- @thehoosierhuddle Similar experience for me at LAX. Saw dozens of IU fans in the terminal and on the LAX-it to the Uber/Lyft lot, and maybe 7 or 8 Bama fans. Just my experience but, coupled with what everyone else is reporting, this bodes well for an overwhelming IU majority at the stadium tomorrow.
We’re staying in Pasadena and just went to lunch. Literally saw like 5 bama fans. Probably 1,000 IU fans. I’ve heard too from locals that it’s been absolutely crawling with Indiana fans.
one thing we’ve thought of is because we knew we were going to the rose bowl as soon as we beat OSU, Bama had to wait. So maybe IU fans bought up hotels in Pasadena.
Our flight from Nashville has @25 IU fans & 6 or 8 Bammers. Several passers by in airport yelled Go Hoosiers at us. A guy in a Tennessee shirt on the plane said “put it on ‘em Hoosiers”. Alabama fan grumbled something.😂
@thenickeldimer my contributions to this board may be negligible, but at least they are consistent! Red pants... go Momma Becker!
I thought about posting this in the "Things to do in Pasadena" thread, but that would just be crude and wrong.
