  1. After last nights game seeing OSU basically get owned by the U
  2. every team in this 12 team format that has gotten a bye has lost.  So much for an advantage

More worried about shitty weather.  Doza doesn’t like the cold.  Not sure about rain but I assume he likes a clean environment.

@hoosiers94 Just the typical nerves associated with any big game, but I’m pretty much unaffected by what happened to OSU last night (other than in my wallet lol).  The Buckeyes’ ****-up has no impact on us or our preparation for Alabama.  I think we’ll be ready and it would basically be insane to doubt Cignetti now…

Will be a fast hard hitting game. We need to start fast.

One thing from the OSU game, they showed they could beat Miami, once OSU woke up in the second half. Made mistakes trying to dig out though. And you just dont get many drives to use to dig out of a hole.

With todays clock rules, fewer number of possessions. Cant mess around. I hope we are ready at the kickoff, six seconds at a time.

Go Hoosiers!

Maybe the long layoff thing on no playoff win, ends today. By the Hoosiers! Kick some ass!

With an expanded field (and that’s inevitable) first round byes should be awarded the home field in their first game. Or go to play-in games, eliminate the byes and have the top seeds open play at home.

@hoosiers94 I feel the same way, but OSU couldn't run or stop the run. Besides, they threw 2 interceptions. I'm counting on that. 😉

I see it more as OSU wasn't as good as everyone thought. Which does that make us the same ?  Is what finebaum spews have legs?  I thought they would have rolled Miami.

OSU got owned at the LOS, which was a little surprising. Miami played Big Ten football to beat a Big Ten team. Not sure Alabama will do that to us, but they have that capability.

No turnovers, good kicking game, get off the field when we get them to third down, run the ball with some level of success . . . Do those things and we have a really good chance to win. Struggle in one or two of them and it will be tough. Alabama spotted OU 17 points and then ran them off the field. They’re good, but so are we.

@hoosiers94 I think OSU was poorly prepared and mentally weak.  They were the better team, but they weren’t ready for it when Miami came out and punched them in the mouth and they never fully recovered.

Pretty much.  A good start is a must.

I’m kinda worried about the field conditions! Hope our players brought the right type of cleats! Watching College Game Day, they tarped the whole field and are already uncovering it, but are still projecting atleast a half inch of rain before kickoff!

I also thought the play calling duties.l being changed for them was going to be an issue as well.  Perhaps if they had had 1-2 games prior done that way maybe they would have overcome ... thank goodness we have our assistants taken care of

We broke OSU. We gave the blue print to one of the other 2 teams (other being TTU) who have DL to replicate what we did. Certainly helps Miami’s DC was the DC for Cignetti at JMU, wouldn’t be surprised if Haines/Cig shared some notes

OSU was the better overall team was my take away - but you can’t do nothing for a full half of football and expect the result to be good. Sayin was in la la land until the 2 minute drill before halftime

going to edit and give some props to Miami too. They are clearly a very good film study team. Their defensive game plan against A&M was similar to what Texas did, and then they did a lot of what we did against OSU. They can win the whole thing if Beck doesn’t have a classic Beck game

Of course Saban and Des both picked Bama.  Probably not a bad thing as I think they both picked Oregon and OSU.
