@kkott

Beat Alabama it is immediately "Well, this was a down year for Alabama."

@openwheel Yeah, but they'll say that for whoever IU beats. I'm sure the SEC take is that IU beating OSU just proves how bad the B10 is overall and that OSU didn't play anyone. I've heard SEC people say if Vandy was in the B10, they'd win it. Ironically, I think if Iowa was in the SEC, they'd be contending. That was the team that most impressed me, compared to their forecast/rep.

Well, we get to see, with Iowa against Vanderbilt in a bowl.

Good game. I gotta favor Vandy with the much better offense. I.e. make that some offense.

A good friend will bail you out of jail, but your best friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying "that was f***ing awesome"

As far as AL or Ok just flip a coin. I think they are about equal honestly. I think OK is better defensively and AL is better offensively. We may actually match up better with AL. We just basically locked down the 2 best receivers in the nation. AL has Ryan Williams, but I’m not going to be worried about him after what we just faced. Also, he has struggled recently to consistently catch the ball, but once he has it he is dynamic in the open field. So, we only have to contain his elusiveness and we will be fine. I would be fine with either matchup and don’t think I’d stress one any more than the other.

it’s the next game that worries me most. Some people may disagree on this, but I have a feeling Oregon will take TT to the woodshed. I’m not that impressed with the Big 12 conference and TT has built their stats and reputation on being the clearly best team in a terrible conference. They lost to an unranked ASU and I know their fans may point to our near loss to PSU, but those teams aren’t equal. I think this years USC or Michigan would be the best team in the Big 12. So, that rematch with Oregon worries me only because of how hard it is to beat the same team twice when the margins are so thin. That’s kind of why as much as I hate to root sec I am hoping UGA can knock off OSU. I wouldn’t want to play both Oregon and Osu again after already having beaten both, but it feels like facing both again is what will have to happen for a natty. At least no one can ever say we had an easy path.

I feel like Oklahoma would be the easier opponent... I don't care about "beating the best". Doesn't matter if you bring home the trophy .. they can me all the names in the book but if win it all I'll take it. So bring on Tulane don't care just want W's ... still counts in the record books
