Curious site that estimates top teams and players NIL values and spending.
What are you buying or selling from these estimates?

Interesting.
I think this site is estimating "roster value" vs. stating what what the players are actually getting. For example, it has Hoover "valued" at $2.5M. We know he got $4.5-5M.
Our roster actually cost more than $25.8M, but I guess their algorithm says it's worth $25.8M.
Same with say TTU, which they have a value of $30.3M but it actually cost $40M+.
So, I guess the question is if their "roster value" estimates are good. I'm not sure I care... I find it more interesting to know what players actually got and what the team is ranked.
Just my opinion. I could be missing something. It's an interesting site.
I put absolutely no value on these because no one knows.
All those sites say their 'roster value' or "NIL value' are from proprietary formulas.
Means, pulling it out of their rear.

Unless. I hear from the school, I put little stock in the number.
Thank you for reading Hoosier Huddle

Weird. I always thought that something's "value" was determined by what someone was willing to pay for it.

How do we know what Hoover got?
How do we know what Hoover got?
Some reports (e.g., Zagoria in Forbes) and chatter around the program. It also matches up with the top transfer QB market.
Can't know for sure, but it's likely somewhere in that range.
The topic that keeps on giving. Confident in one thing: Anyone lacking financial resources isn't winning anything in major college sports now. Go Hoosiers!
