Curious what the recruit flip buzz is like before national signing day when we are 13-0 and B1G Champs again.
Has there been a roster count eval since the 5 for 5 ruling came out?
Would be an awfully rough estimate given the 6 to 10 underclassman with NFL draft decisions.
@openwheel I know the way this staff operates, we'll be fine if Sales doesn't choose IU. Won't lose a bit of sleep over that. But, what I'm excited about is just watching him play, with the development of this staff. Look what they've done with Sarratt, Cooper and Becker and project that to a guy who has Randy Moss measurables. Would be a fun couple of years!

Sales is 6'5 195lbs, 4.43 40-yard dash
Becker is 6'4 205lbs. 4.4 40-yard dash
Becker isn't fast when changing direction so maybe that is a difference (not sure how Sales is in that regard) but Becker should have been rated much higher than he was by the services given his size, speed, ability to catch contested passes, great hands etc.
@hurryinghoosiers No arguments, but I'm also giving the staff credit for helping to develop Becker into what he became last year. I could be wrong, but I doubt he walked in the door 2-3 years ago capable of what I believe Sales will be from Day 1. Regarding development, if you haven't seen it, watch The Standard episode from IU Football on youtube with Charlie Becker linked below. More of you may be familiar with today's training regiments, but damn, if that truly was a single day, I'm amazed at the variety of drills and exercises they employ. Eye opening for me.
I’m hoping the Sales commitment might help influence Ogelsby and Johnson to re open their recruitment and consider coming to IU?
@it-will-do I doubt it with Oglesby. Honestly, I think he looked at the depth and youth in the TE room and didn't see an opening or PT available. This doesn't change that at all. If he has any future at IU, I think it will come a couple years down the road. Plus, historically, this staff hasn't played guys early and although that won't be the case with this year's tight ends, that may have influenced him as well.
